ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Friday will hold a news conference in Orlando.

The event is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. at the Florida Highway Patrol Troop D headquarters on International Drive.

DeSantis will be joined by several others, although the reason for the news conference has not been released.

Joining the governor will be Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier; Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia; Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Wilton Simpson; Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles Executive Director Dave Kerner; Florida Highway Patrol Director Colonel Gary Howze II; and Florida State Board of Immigration Enforcement Executive Director Larry Keefe.
