ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A Missouri foster parent who allegedly traded a child for an exotic animal has been released on bond.
Brenda Deutsch, of Winfield, is charged with felony counts of neglect, child abuse and child endangerment stemming from initial allegations of a missing child later found in Texas.
In July, Deutsch posted bond. Bond conditions included surrendering her passport and not tampering with witnesses or victims.
According to court documents, in November 2024, the Missouri Department of Social Services received an anonymous report that Deutsch was abusing a victim.
