MADISON (WKOW) — 27 News' Pet of the Week is Cinder!

Cinder is a 7-month-old spayed female hound mix from the Humane Society of Jefferson County.

"At only 28 pounds, she doesn't have much more growing to do, so she'll stay petite and adorable," said HSJC spokesperson Madison Cummings.

Cinder is still working on leash training, but she is eager to learn, Cummings said.

"She has done well with other dogs, but still has a lot of puppy energy," Cummings said. "She is a sweet pup looking for a loving family."
