The complaint submitted to the DOJ’s inspector general accused Bove of leading the effort to disobey judicial rulings and mislead judges. But the IG did not act on it for months. “The mishandling of the complaint underscores a growing concern among current and former Justice Department officials that the inspector general seems strangely silent in the second Trump administration,” the New York Times reports.
