ATLANTA — Images of the worsening hunger crisis in Gaza are moving Democrats and, increasingly, Republicans alike, with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Monday night calling the situation in Palestine a "genocide."

According to several national reports , that made her the first Republican lawmaker to characterize the starvation crisis unfolding in Gaza a genocide.
