DALLAS — It’s not just Democrats who are worried as the Texas GOP moves forward with its proposed new political map.
Some Republicans aren’t thrilled about losing GOP voters to another district as congressional lines shift, perhaps making some ruby red districts a bit more vulnerable.
U.S. Rep. Beth Van Duyne, R-Irving, is among the group that doesn’t think any district is safe, even though her 24th District is considered reliably red. She just won reelection by more than 20 percentage points.
