More than 57,000 people and counting have signed an online petition calling for Arkansas State Police trooper Holly Romero to be fired after a video went viral on TikTok of her pulling over and arresting a woman last month who said her dog was dying.

The TikTok video , which has about 540,000 likes and more than 5.6 million views, is about two minutes long. It shows Romero’s dashcam footage as she follows a blue Hyundai that is using its hazard lights down Highway 67 in Hope. Romero’s sirens are going off as she follows the vehicle. The Hyundai pulls into the lot of Byreview Veterinary Clinic as Romero follows her.
