The rest of the front office’s summer will be focused internally. The first domino was fully guaranteeing Julian Champagnie’s contract.
On Friday, the Spurs guaranteed the rest of Champagnie’s $3M contract for the 2025-26 season. Champagnie’s deal is one of the most team-friendly contracts in the NBA. He played all 82 games last season, averaging 9.9 points and shot 37.1% from the field while being a solid defender. The Spurs can pick up his club option for the 2026-27 season, giving them another year with the 3&D swingman on his current deal.
Champagnie should factor into a crowded wing room for the Spurs thi
