Olympic hero Michael Phelps is lending his skills to his hometown Baltimore Ravens, agreeing to teach the football players how to swim .

The Ravens contacted the 23-time gold medal winner this week after cornerback Marlon Humphrey posted a social media video of several players asking Phelps to visit the team’s training center to help them learn to hold their own in the water.

Humphrey, offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, safety Kyle Hamilton and tight end Charlie Kolar — who later told reporters he didn’t expect their video to be publicly shared — recorded their cheeky plea for help from a swimming pool.
