OMAHA, Neb. —
Tory Pittman III's star continues to rise. Five stars to be exact.
The Omaha Central standout recently earned a five-star rating from 247 Sports. He's the top safety and the 16th best overall player in the Class of 2027.
“People have been calling me that. My teammates, call me 'Five-star' already. So finally having it, it’s real now,” Pittman said.
The junior safety has emerged as one of the top high school football prospects in the country.
“I have worked for what I have,” Pittman said. “I think I deserve the recognition.”
Omaha Central’s defensive coordinator Abdul Muhammad says Pittman’s rise hasn’t come by accident.
“Always willing to work, always willing to be there and get better. That’s the commitment you need. And that’s something he just has,” Muhammad said.
