YAVAPAI COUNTY, Ariz. — Fire crews are currently fighting the Kirkland Fire, burning in Yavapai County, 2 miles northeast of Hillside and east of Bagdad Road.

A "SET" order that was in place for the residents of Kirkland has been lifted, according to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management.

Other areas included YCU-2030, YCU-2105 and YCU 2102 near Hillside and Yava.

Authorities say the fire is advancing toward the town of Yava, east of Prescott.

The human-caused fire started on Aug. 1.

As of Aug. 6, the fire has burned 913 acres and has 80% containment. Around 50 personnel are working to contain it.

Officials said a decrease in fire activity is helping crews with full suppression efforts. The fire has stayed within its footprint over last few days.
