HAMMONDSPORT, N.Y. (WETM) — Cyclists rode around Keuka Lake on Saturday as part of an annual bike ride fundraiser and raised more than $110,00 to help people in both Chemung & Steuben counties, the United Way of the Southern Tier announced in a release.

The Tour de Keuka fundraiser took place on Saturday, August 2, with 270 attendees from 17 states starting and finishing at the Hammondsport Fire Station, and raising more than $110,00 to benefit programs supported by United Way of the Southern Tier, the release said.

The bike ride fundraiser is an annual event hosted by the United Way of the Southern Tier, in partnership with Kennedy Valve, that raises funds to help support programs specifically for children, senior citizens, and people/families in need throughout Chemung and Steuben coun
