CHAPEL HILL — UNC football kicked off its first preseason practice under head coach Bill Belichick on a rainy Saturday morning at the Bill Koman Practice Complex.
The Tar Heels stayed outside under cloudy skies and drizzling rain, beginning practice with Kenny Chesney’s “Boys of Fall” playing over the speakers. With TCU coming to Kenan Stadium in 30 days, the all-important evaluation process is underway for Belichick.
As Belichick referenced in his opening press conference of the preseason, which occurred in the Kenan Football Center before the Tar Heels started practice, the quarterback position is one of the “key questions” the Tar Heels “have to answer” in the next few weeks.
