SEATTLE, Wash. — President Donald Trump signed a new executive order Friday imposing tariffs ranging from 10% to 50%, just ahead of a self-imposed deadline. The sweeping measure includes trade agreements with major partners , such as Japan, South Korea and the European Union, and is set to take effect next Thursday.
But not everyone is on board. U.S. Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., is among those continuing to speak out, calling the tariffs harmful to American families and businesses.
