BOSSIER CITY, La. - Bossier Parish students were able to grab school supplies for the new year thanks to the United Way of Northwest Louisiana's "Fill the Bus" back-to-school drive.

Dozens of families came to the Walmart on Airline Drive to take advantage of a community way to get their students prepped for the school year and ready to learn.

"United way is proud to be able to partner with our local community, to be able to provide these supplies for the year and we hope all the kids have a wonderful and successful school year," said Kimberly Williams.

The "Fill the Bus" drive benefits more than four-thousand elementary, middle and high school students.
