1A 20-year-old Honduran national living in the United States illegally has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing during a soccer game in Baldwin County, Alabama, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
Javier Lopez Tinoco was arrested on July 29, ten days after allegedly stabbing a man three times during a public match in Summerdale on July 19. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office charged Lopez Tinoco with attempted murder. Authorities say he fled the scene immediately after the attack.
When arrested, Lopez Tinoco was reportedly in possession of four small bags of cocaine. He is currently being held in local custody.
