Ahead of Sunday's training camp practice at St. John Fisher University, Bills head coach Sean McDermott gave an extended injury update on a number of players.

Specifically, he shared that first-round cornerback Maxwell Hairston and wide receiver Khalil Shakir are both "week-to-week" with injuries. Shakir suffered a high ankle sprain during Friday's Return of the Blue & Red practice.

"He's dealt with one before, he's extremely tough... it's going to take some time," McDermott said.

As for Hairston, the rookie avoided a serious knee injury last week but will still miss time.

"It's going to take some time. He's week to week," McDermott said.
