Ford has issued a safety recall for several popular SUV and pickup truck models due to issues with the braking systems.

Around 312,120 vehicles are affected by the recall, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration .

Documents filed with the highway safety agency stated that the recall was caused because the electronic brake booster system might not work properly, which would lead to a loss of power brake assist.

This would extend the stopping distance of a car and might lead to the vehicle not braking as expected, increasing the chance of a crash.

Affected vehicles includes the following Ford and Lincoln vehicle models:

2025 Ford Bronco

2025 Ford Expedition

2025 Ford F150

2025 Ford Ranger

2025 Lincoln Navigator

Owners of affected vehicles will be contacted
