HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A Tampa high school principal is on administrative leave after being arrested early Saturday by the Temple Terrace Police Department.
Scott Hazlett, 40, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. Saturday on charges of driving under the influence, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to online Hillsborough County Jail records.
Hazlett serves as the principal of Leto High School and has worked for Hillsborough County Public Schools since 2007.
