Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci are dressed to the nines at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Friday (August 1) in New York City.

The two actors were seen filming Met Gala scenes for The Devil Wears Prada 2 , where they were also joined by co-star Simone Ashley .

Earlier that day, the trio were also spotted filming on the blue carpet-draped steps of the MET.

In these latest set photos, Simone ‘s mysterious role was seemingly revealed!

Based on the photos, it appears as though Simone could be playing Miranda Priestley’s new assistant, as she was seen at Meryl ‘s side while filming.

While Meryl has not attended the real life Met Gala , Stanley has attended on two occasions, in 2006 and 2003, and Simone has previously attended in 2024 and 2022.
