For a series once derided as “tedious,” “boring,” and a “meandering, small, plot-starved, confused, and self-important show featuring a bunch of characters whose names I never learned” (OK, yes, all these criticisms of the first season came from me ), I am positively living for this season of HBO’s The Gilded Age .
