YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The RBI Diamondbacks took off for the World Series at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, Florida today.
The team will play a guaranteed three games from Monday to Saturday and are one of the eight teams in their respective age bracket(ages 16-18) that also includes six teams from around the country, and one from Puerto Rico.
The tournament doesn't just focus on what happens on the field, however. While in Florida, every team will also receive insight and important tips on mental health and wellness as a part of the program.
The RBI D-backs' first game is set for August 5 at 4 p.m. EST against the RBI Braves.
