The Saints ramped things up with a Sunday scrimmage, getting their longest looks at the QBs

Everybody in the New Orleans Saints building was gearing up toward Sunday. Linebacker Danny Stutsman said defensive coordinator Brandon Staley apparently told his defense that they were going to take "the war path" during Saturday's defensive meeting. The first nine practices of training camp were meant to build toward Sunday's crescendo, a roughly two-and-a-half hour scrimmage that featured some live contact and the closest thing to a game atmosphere yet.
