In June, the owners of Little Rock’s Baja Grill announced that the restaurant would be closing at the end of the month.

But just ahead of the scheduled closure, a surprise donation from “one of our lovely regulars” kept the Heights neighborhood business afloat for the month of July . Owner Heather Baber told the Arkansas Times on Friday that the restaurant will remain open under the new ownership of longtime general manager Erin Jackson .

Baber, who co-founded The Taco Society restaurant group with Craig Roe, also owns Baja Grill’s downtown Benton location, along with neighboring restaurants Rōber :: Cocktails + Culinary and Revival :: Restaurant + Beer Garden .
