LOS ANGELES – A man was set on fire in downtown Los Angeles late Sunday night.

Los Angeles Police Department Central units responded to an attack call on 6th Street, between Los Angeles Street and Maple Avenue, around 10:20 p.m.

Officers reported that a man had been doused in gasoline and set on fire by an unknown assailant.

The victim was transported to LA General Medical Center by Los Angeles Fire Department in an unknown condition.
