A 25-year-old motorcyclist killed in an alleged “high speed” collision Sunday in the city has been identified by authorities.

The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased as Stanley Aviles-Espaillat of Allentown. He was pronounced dead just after 8:15 a.m. Sunday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem.

Aviles-Espaillat died from multiple blunt force injuries and the death was ruled accidental by Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio.

Allentown Police Captain of Criminal Investigations Division Stephen J. Milkovits III said the crash occurred around 3:20 a.m. in the 300 block of West Tilghman Street.

Aviles-Espaillat was heading east on Tilghman Street at a high rate of speed, he said.
