SALINAS, Calif. (KION) – SALINAS, Calif. (KION) – A weak low pressure system aloft will linger over the region through early next week, keeping the marine layer in place along the coast. Coastal clouds and fog will persist during the overnight and morning hours, but may partially clear during the day as light winds help mix the air. Breezy conditions are expected at times, especially through the Salinas Valley, where gusts could approach 30–40 mph through Monday. Temperatures will remain near seasonal averages but may trend slightly warmer midweek, particularly in inland areas.
