Doechii’s music DNA has always been bold and unconventional, ever since she first enticed our eardrums when she popped off with “Girls” on SoundCloud in 2016. Now, the artist, who became the third Black woman to win the GRAMMY’s Best Rap Album earlier this year for her mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal, has announced her first headlining tour.

At the end of her 50-minute set on the T-Mobile stage at Lollapalooza in Chicago on August 2, the self-proclaimed Swamp Princess dropped this nugget: “Before we get out of here, I want to make an announcement. I’m gonna be going on tour on October 14. What’s up, y’all? Bye!”
