INDIAN LAND, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- A death investigation is underway after a man's body was found in the parking lot of a Lowe's in Indian Land, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.

Around 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, deputies responded to the Lowe's at 181 Fort Mill Highway. Customers reportedly found the man unresponsive on the ground. Emergency personnel pronounced him dead at the scene, officials said.

He was 43 years old and lived in Indian Land with his family. He was found bleeding face down in front of his truck in the parking lot. Investigators said he left his home alone in the truck earlier that morning to run errands.
