PHOENIX — Police have identified the teenager who was shot and killed in west Phoenix Monday morning.
Officers were called to the scene near 75th Avenue and Encanto Boulevard, south of Desert Sky Mall, shortly before 10 a.m. for reports of a shooting, city police said.
When they arrived, they found the teen, later identified as Kyelonna Meya Smiley, injured and unresponsive. She was pronounced dead on the scene.
