Soulja Boy has found himself on the wrong side of the law once again. The 35-year-old was recently arrested in Los Angeles for a weapons charge.

Early Sunday morning (Aug. 3), the LA police executed a traffic stop on a car in which the “Crank That” rapper was a passenger. The officers reportedly did not reveal why they stopped the vehicle, who the driver was, or why they decided to conduct a search. However, upon searching the car, they discovered a firearm was in Soulja’s possession.

“A passenger was detained and police arrested DeAndre Cortez Way for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm,” they said in a statement. The Atlanta rapper has yet to comment on his arrest, but this marks the second time in over 10 years that he was taken into custody for a weapons charg
