William Shakespeare’s dark and dramatic play Macbeth is being brought to life on stage for the first time in Sault Ste. Marie, Aug. 27-31, at Sault Theater Workshop.
Unfathomable Horrors Productions director Calvin Lane is bringing the story to life and doing it one-to-one, authentically from the book. He describes it as more “grim and dark” than recent shows.
“Macbeth is a very interesting piece of literature; it’s also one of his most haunting works. Dealing in the occult and witches, the natural attraction was just there,” Lane said.
Production held auditions in May, and Lane said that this cast is one of the best he’s worked with.
