In New York Sports culture, the name "Dan in Warwick" is associated with a memorable phone call to "The Mike Francesa Show" roughly ten years ago.

Dan in Warwick's question was whether the New York Giants football team and the San Francisco Giants baseball team, who share the same name and previously both played in New York, ever "get together," or "go out to dinner or something." This question became a viral moment that was spoofed by both teams on Monday.

The event wouldn't have felt right without Francesa, who made a cameo during the festivities between the two teams.
