CHEYENNE — The family of an airman who died on duty at F.E. Warren Air Force Base has called for a discontinuance of the M18 involved in his death through their legal representation, Saltz Mongeluzzi Bendesky.

Airman Brayden Lovan, a 21-year-old defender assigned to the 90th Security Forces Squadron, 90th Security Forces Group, died July 20 in relation to a firearm discharge. F. E. Warren Air Force Base was his first assignment.

According to an article by the Muhlenberg County Leader-News, Lovan was from Greenville, Kentucky. He was involved in football and track and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville.

“He loved going four-wheel riding with his friends, fishing, camping, jet skiing, hunting and playing PlayStation,” reads his obituary.
