Duke football won't enter 2025 on the preseason US LBM Coaches Poll, but the Blue Devils did receive votes.

Duke received 12 votes in the preseason poll, which is voted on by more than 60 college football coaches, including Blue Devils coach Manny Diaz. Diaz is entering his second season leading Duke after leading Duke to a 9-4 record and a bowl appearance in his inaugural season. The Blue Devils are set to return 14 members from last year's squad while bringing in 28 freshman and nine transfer portal additions, including quarterback Darian Mensah from Tulane.

Out of the 25 teams ranked in the poll, Duke is set to face two during the regular season: Illinois (13) on Sept. 6 and Clemson (6) on Nov. 1.
