FULTON – The Fulton Town Council met Monday night, August 4th with all council members were present, with one attending virtually. Last meeting’s minutes were read and approved.
The mayor said he had no new update about the park, which has been vandalized. He also discussed the water and sewer, which he said he has things paid for. There was a passed motion to accept the water expenditures. The general funds were mentioned. The street fund was also discussed. The streetlights for Fulton were $579.98. There was a passed motion to accept the financial statement as read.
Fire Chief John Pettit gave the Fire Department report. He said there were 5 calls. There will be training at the Turk Plant on September 25th. James Lamb, the former fire chief, will be hosting an emergency driving class
