The Ridgefield Raptors bats stayed hot in the Palm Springs of Washington on Monday as they started their final West Coast League series of the 2025 season by pounding out 13 hits in a 12-2 win over the Yakima Valley Pippins at Yakima County Stadium.
In their last four games, all wins, Ridgefield (23-29 overall, 11-14 second half) has scored 49 runs on 48 hits.
Equally impressive, Austin Sheldon (2-4) went the distance on the mound. The Tumwater native who pitched for Division III Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, allowed five hits with four strikeouts and one walk to send the Pippins (13-39, 6-19) to their fourth straight loss.
Cooper Whitton had his second four-hit game in three days by going 4 for 6 with two doubles, a triple and five RBI. He also scored three runs. The Loyola Marymount
