Fabian Hurzeler made it clear what he wants to work on before Albion ’s final friendly.

Defensive chores will be high on the agenda after the late collective lapses which saw his side draw 2-2 at Southampton rather than win comfortably.

That will not be aimed purely at what now looks his probably starting back four.

The collective unit will be reminded of their responsibilities as a result of events at St Mary’s – and not just the last 20 minutes.

Hurzeler was far from impressed with how his side, who should have led by more than 2-0, ended the game.
