Say goodbye to Rite Aid, South Jersey.
The bankrupt drug store operator is in the process of closing all pharmacy departments at its stores throughout the region and the state, according to information at the firm's website.
The move, an apparent precursor to a full store closing, already has affected customers at 26 Rite Aids in South Jersey.
The website shows that a final three pharmacy shutdowns are imminent at Rite Aids along Westfield Avenue in Pennsauken on Aug. 5, along Harmony Road in Gibbstown on Aug. 6 and along the White Horse Pike in Somerdale on Aug. 7.
Philadelphia-based Rite Aid in May said it wanted to sell off "substantially all of its assets" as part of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy action.
