KRONENWETTER − A community event is giving residents the chance to connect with first responders in a fun, hands-on environment.

Kronenwetter’s National Night Out will take place on Aug. 5 at Towering Pines Park from 6-8 p.m., offering a relaxed setting for people to meet and interact with emergency services, according to a community announcement.

Attendees can explore emergency vehicles, meet first responders and learn more about their daily work.

"This event brings our community together by giving our citizens a fun and relaxed setting where they can interact and get to know our staff and first responders," said Kronenwetter Police Chief Terry McHugh.
