The new sites will open in a year that has seen the shuttering of hundreds of chain store locations, including names such as Rite Aid, Monro, Kohl's and Macy's.
T.J. Maxx, known for its name-brand items at discounted prices, is owned by TJX, the parent company of Marshalls, HomeGoods and more. The department store's products range from clothing and beauty products to items for the home and even holiday decorations.
