MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Austin Drummond, the man wanted in a quadruple murder in West Tennessee, was taken into custody Tuesday morning, according to law enforcement.
This comes after a shelter-in-place alert was issued for those in Jackson, Tennessee, on Tuesday morning after the Jackson Police Department said Drummond was spotted.
Officers made a social media post saying, "Due to the sighting of suspect Austin Drummond in the area of Saddlebrook Drive and Bridlepath Drive, please shelter in place immediately."
The area of Pleasant Plains and Country Club is also temporarily blocked off, police say.
During the shelter-in-place, police say residents should keep windows and doors locked, remain indoors, and avoid unnecessary travel.
