Silly Goose are a nu-metal band who’ve gained internet fame for their pop-up performance, playing shows in unconventional places like Subway restaurants and gas stations.
It was during a performance at the latter, a BP station in Chicago, where frontman Jackson Foster was arrested for criminal trespassing despite claiming that he’d received permission from the station’s employees to hold the impromptu performance on top of a parked van. Unfortunately for Foster, that wasn’t good enough for the authorities, who appeared to enforce noise and permit bylaws, shutting down the show.
