The Pittsburgh Steelers have revealed their first depth chart of the 2025 season, and it comes without many surprises, but there are some notable placements.
For one, rookie quarterback Will Howard seems to have already overtaken veteran Skylar Thompson as someone who will make the team.
It is expected for Howard to win that job, but the Steelers have in that placement right now, and he received second-team reps when Aaron Rodgers sat on Saturday.
Rookie defensive lineman Derrick Harmon is already a starting defensive end in the team’s base packages, and is currently competing with veteran Keeanu Benton for reps in their sub-packages.
Kaleb Johnson, the team’s highly-touted rookie running back, sits as third on the pecking order behind veterans Jaylen Warren and Kenny Gainwell.
