Educators can score a $500 grant through Touchdowns for Teachers program
With NFL season returning next month, Arizona teachers, including those at Glendale schools, have a reason to cheer.
Through the SRP Touchdowns for Teachers program, two educators will be selected to receive a $500 grant every time the Cardinals score a touchdown during the regular season. The Cardinals’ season opens in New Orleans against the Saints on Sept. 7, with their first home game in Glendale coming Sept. 14 against the Carolina Panthers.
Now in its seventh year, this partnership between Salt River Project and the Cardinals helps teachers provide essential classroom needs. Grants can be used for anything from basic supplies to hands-on learning tools.
