WCCO TV reports: “Data at the North St. Paul Police Department may have been ‘compromised’ as a result of a cyberattack, city officials said Monday.” City Manager Brian Frandle said in a memo for an emergency council meeting that city staff were requesting the council to allow the city to work with cybersecurity experts with the McDonald Hopkins firm.
The council voted to approve the contract during the meeting, and advisers will determine whether there was a data leak.
