LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — After last season's disastrous 4-8 finish, Kentucky football fans are searching for reasons to be optimistic in 2025.

On his radio show last week, SEC Network analyst Paul Finebaum didn't mince words when he expressed his pessimism for the Wildcats' outlook this season.

“I think it’s looking to me like a .500 record,” Finebaum said on his show recently. “I’m not optimistic at all. You look at this schedule; I think Kentucky will be very fortunate to finish .500. Frankly, I’m not sure they will have a winning season. I don’t see six wins on that schedule.”
