KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Clay County has added five new Narcan boxes across the Kansas City metro.

Clay County Public Health Center recently purchased eight new Narcan distribution boxes, thanks to funding from the Clay County Opioid Settlement Fund.

Five new boxes are now available across Clay County at the following locations: • Smithville Chamber of Commerce (105 W. Main St.) • North Kansas City Public Library (2251 Howell St.) • Clay County Sheriff's Office detention center (14 South Water St.) • A Turning Point (1900 NE Englewood Rd.) • Beacon Mental Health Services (3100 NE 83rd St.) • New Narcan box at the Clay County Sheriff's Office detention center (14 S Water St.) • New Narcan box at North Kansas City Public Library (2251 Howell St.) • New Narcan box at A Turning Poi
