HOUSTON (KIAH) — Two former NFL players are inspiring local youth by sharing their journey and encouraging them to pursue their dreams beyond sports.
Former Houston Texans players, Tim Jamison and ND Kalu spoke to them during a panel at NRG Stadium about the importance of planning for life after sports.
"I wish I had people like that to come talk to me when I was growing up," Jamison said while reflecting on the impact he hopes to have on the youth.
He spoke to the importance of having a plan beyond a sports career, noting that playing in the NFL is not a lifelong option. He stressed the significance of being a business owner and the role of networking in his personal growth.
