In a historic house off Canton Street in downtown Roswell, Jonathan Yu and chef Matt Marcus are brewing something new.

Cocktail bar and restaurant Truth Be Told opened in July at 1104 Canton St. just outside downtown Roswell in the former Rice Thai Cuisine location. It features a $115 tasting menu, wine and cocktails.

This is metro Atlanta native Jonathan Yu’s first foray into running a restaurant. Yu was born and raised in the Milton and Roswell area. He worked for several years in wine and spirits distribution, but when he purchased the former Rice Thai Cuisine space when it closed about three years ago, he decided it would offer an opportunity to bring something “exceptional” to Roswell.
